The Television series, which brings viewers the Jumuah lecture every Friday on CTV has moved its time slot yet again according to Public Relations and Communications for Faizal Sayed Media Associates, Ruwaidah Wentzel.
The move comes after an influx of request from the public requesting repeats of the programme due to the 14h30 slot being inconvenient as many are still at work or occupied at the time.
The series has built up a huge amount of momentum and interest and from a production point of view seems to be a great service to the community and is being well received with even request from satellite broadcasters to air the series on satellite through more than twenty countries says producer and host Faizal Sayed.
CTV's Mike Aldridge suggested the move from 14h30 to 19h30 a prime time slot every Friday on CTV after many requests from the public.
The show has received lots of publicity and members of the community are very appreciative and supportive and usually make lots of enquiries especially after the shoot at Mosques on Fridays says production manager Ahmed Mohamed.
Viewers can tune into CTV free of charge in the Cape Town area by tuning in on the UHF band between SABC3 and ETV. CTV's Signal cannot be picked up via a decoder but via antenna.
Talks are also in the pipeline to link up with the live broadcast of VOC at least once a month, which will benefit both radio and television Jumuah broadcasts.
