Wayne does it for cancer

If you are in the Boland and up for a laugh, you have something to
look forward to. Cape Town stand up comedian Wayne McKay's new show
titled Cape Flats Mosaic will be performed in the Paarl Town Hall at
8pm on 17th November, in aid of cancer awareness. McKay's show gives
a fresh and innovative approach to the Cape Flats experience and will
take audiences to spaces they love to revisit - their childhood and
particularly their high school experiences. The show engages story
telling which is not only a trip down memory lane, but also focus on
current issues in South Africa.

Audiences can expect to see never seen before footage on screen, shot
entirely in the Bo-Kaap, which takes stand up comedy to a new level.
McKay's android imitations of celebrities, politicians and rugby
coaches will have audience members laughing down the aisles. A
percentage of the proceeds of the show will be donated to CANSA
Boland, an organisation that depends on donations from the public to
increase awareness about cancer prevention.

Tickets cost R80 and are available from Michelle at 078 990 7981 or
by e-mail from yazerievents@gmail.com. Also join Saturday Live just
after 9am when the team finds out more about the comedian and his
upcoming work. VOC

Faizal Sayed and FSMA has agreed to produce the Television version of
Cape Flats Mosaic which is currently in the production planning stages.
