THE ISLAMIC TIMES WELL RECEIVED

The new Islamic newspaper called The Islamic Times which was recenly launched is being well received according to publishers, Faizal Sayed Media.  "The second edition has hit the shelves and the Ramadaan and Eid edition is in the making" Says Ahmed Mohamed, the operations manager.
The newspaper which is a community based tabloid size paper is distributed all over Cape Town at no cost to readers.  The first edition has attracted a huge amount of interest especially in a time when it has become obvious that there is a dire need for more Islamic media.
"The challenge has been interesting and is exciting as one is able to use the platform to address and assist real issues, says Faizal Sayed, the paper's Editor.  "One cannot always satisfy all but we try to incorporate elements which may satsify readers with various interest, philosophies and backgrounds" says Sayed
According to the publishers reader interatcion allows the design and editorial team to further fine tune the paper in both design and editorial and therefore encourage the public to keep them up to date with community events and news.
The company also has designated call centres dealing with it's publications and products manged by Nazreen Cassim.  An inbound number will be availble soon which will manage all public responses and enquiries.
